The Grinch, a bitter ill-tempered character, who despises the Who's in Whoville and gets pleasure from disrupting their Christmas merriment. Similar in nature to the story A Christmas Carol, The Grinch comes around when he discovers there is more to Christmas and his heart grows 3x its size. I love that scene where his heart breaks out of wire frame! As a kid, watching the Grinch who stole Christmas was a holiday tradition.
Why a marionette? So I could play with it!
The Grinch marionette comes with a custom hanger that has Whoville garbage in the platform. The tree is made of hardwood and has 2 branches; the hands come off for separate control.
This one-of-kind handcrafted collectable starts with an original Ken Fedoruk sculpture. Having already pictured the finished character in my head I move to applying the costume, in this case I used red velvet. His green hair is made with cotton embroidery thread.
Each Kenfolks sculpture is a one-of-kind creation and comes with an artist’s signature of authenticity.
