Ramesses II - History comes to life spectacular handcrafted sculpture
Ramesses II Third pharaoh of the Nineteenth Dynasty of Egypt. With 66 years under his belt he was most celebrated and was likely the and most powerful pharaoh of the Egyptian Empire. He definitely had a spectacular head piece that generated fear. During art collage a friend, whom had just returned from Egypt, presented a show. I was hooked! The history. The Pharaohs. The people. The devotion. The beliefs. Memorizing and spooky.
This handcrafted collectable starts with an original Ken Fedoruk sculpture. Having already pictured the finished character in my head, plus I had some good reference, I move to applying the costume. In this case I used a wide variety of materials for his costume. For embellishments I've used bits of vintage costume jewelry and Swarovski crystals for his crown. The finishing touches are richly painted eyes. The sculpture is about 5" long fits in the palm of your hand.
Each Kenfolks sculpture is an original creation and comes with an artists signature of authenticity.
