ONE OF A KIND Original art

Curly Sue Clifton: Named for her flowing locks of chestnut hair, Curly Sue is the second oldest daughter to Dynamite Dan. Brazen, scrappy and overly dangerous, Curly Sue is known for her temper and relentless pursuit. Those who resist a robbery will quickly find themselves outmatched in a toe-to-toe gunfight. However, if a victim surrenders his booty without hesitation, she will always leave him unharmed. At last count she had three knife wounds and six gunshot wounds, two by accident from her sister. Only a fool would test Curly Sue.

MY PROCESS:
With a character in mind and a handful of polymer clay I start sculpting. I will mix clays together to get the perfect complexion. The eyes are white glass beads with hand painted iris and pupils. For the teeth I use a white clay and for the tongue a soft pink. These details create a realistic contrast that I greatly prefer over painted accents.

The finished sculpture is then decorated entirely by hand and each character is exquisitely adorned to create a unique one of a kind art experience. To produce a tactile sculpture I use the finest materials available including real fur, Swarovski crystals, antique jewelry, top quality fabrics/leather, enamel paints and glues. After years of creating multi-medium sculptures I still believe the magic is in the details. Built to last, these will be cherished for generations.

This original piece of art is numbered KF171. All artwork is cataloged for providence and comes with a signed letter of authenticity.
